At A Visual Affair, our doctors are trained to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of eye diseases and ocular conditions. Many eye diseases develop gradually and may not produce symptoms until significant vision loss has already occurred. Regular eye examinations play an important role in detecting these conditions early, when treatment is often most effective.
Our office provides comprehensive medical eye care for patients experiencing red eyes, eye infections, eye injuries, sudden changes in vision, dry eyes, allergies, and other ocular concerns. We are licensed to prescribe medications and provide treatment for many eye conditions, often eliminating the need for referral to another provider.
Some of the conditions commonly diagnosed and managed in our office include:
• Dry Eye Disease and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction
• Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)
• Corneal Ulcers and Infections

• Keratoconus and Other Corneal Disorders

Advanced Dry Eye Treatment
Dry eye disease is one of the most common and often most frustrating conditions affecting patients today. Symptoms may include burning, stinging, fluctuating vision, excessive tearing, light sensitivity, eye fatigue, contact lens intolerance, and discomfort while reading or using digital devices.
Our office has a special interest in diagnosing and treating the underlying causes of dry eye disease rather than simply masking symptoms with artificial tears. We utilize advanced diagnostic technology to evaluate tear film quality, eyelid health, and meibomian gland function in order to develop individualized treatment plans.
A Visual Affair is one of the few eye care practices in the region to offer Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy for dry eye disease. We are also one of only a small number of practices to combine IPL with Radio Frequency (RF) technology, allowing us to address both meibomian gland dysfunction and eyelid inflammation while improving gland function and tear quality. These advanced treatments can provide significant and lasting relief for patients who have not responded adequately to traditional therapies.
Advanced Diagnostic Technology
Our office utilizes state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to evaluate and monitor eye health, including advanced retinal imaging and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). These technologies allow our doctors to detect and monitor conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal disorders, and optic nerve abnormalities with exceptional precision.
Emergency Eye Care
If you experience redness, pain, flashes of light, floaters, sudden vision loss, eye trauma, chemical exposure, or any other urgent eye concern, we encourage you to contact our office promptly. Timely diagnosis and treatment are often critical in preventing permanent vision loss and preserving long-term eye health.
The photographs below represent a variety of eye diseases and conditions that may be diagnosed and treated in our office. While some conditions are relatively minor, others can be vision-threatening if left untreated. This gallery illustrates the importance of regular eye examinations and prompt medical care when eye problems arise.
